Crescere Farm

Crescere Farm is a stunning property set amidst one of the most diverse landscapes in Central Virginia. The rolling hills, lovely waterways, forests, cliff-sides, and unique bottomlands are all surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. Each view is more spectacular than the next, looking like the most beautiful bucolic painting you’ve ever seen. Hemp, vegetables, hay, and flower cultivation are central to our sustainable farming operation. Crescere is also home to our growing cattle herd and beehives.

Our veggies supplied local farm-to-table restaurants as well as MESA, our county’s local food pantry. Hay is grown and harvested to supply the livestock on both Crescere and our sister farm, Edgewood Miller Farm.

In sustainable farming fashion, we plan for beneficial insects and plant gorgeous flowers to support the local bee population. We have several beehives on Crescere and harvest our own local honey.

As part of our sustainable land management plan, we are growing our herd of gorgeous heifers and calves. Belted Galloways, Texas Longhorn, and Commercial Angus dot the meadows, including lots of new calves! 

Teaching how food is grown and the environmental impact is essential to the mission of Crescere Farm. Educational tours will be central programming offered to agri-resort guests.
